Another Lacuna

Okay, here I am again on a break from blogging. It's a bit of a personal problem and well, I'm kind of out-of-sorts recently.

Let's just say that... Okay, let's just not say anything. Things are going a bit meh and might get worse, so I am a bit anxious and worried about what the future will bring. My friends and family are very supportive though, so I'm not THAT worried. But still, when things don't go your way, you can't help but feel a little bit lost.

I'm not sure how long this break is going to be, and I don't want to imagine any reasons why it should be so. I uhh... I'm just sad that there might be things I may not be able to have a chance to do anymore. And no it's nothing about my health or anything, I'm perfectly healthy and very genki! Not missing any body parts nor will I go to jail... I mean, how unlikely is that? It's just that, something that has been nagging at my mind for months now have been realized. And the repurcussions aren't reassuring.

But I will not give up. Nay, this will be nothing but just a stepping stone to much greater heights. I will overcome this and still be in time for the cherry blossoms to bloom!

Till then, I hope you guys would still stay tuned once I come back.

Lacuna

--I found that word when I was trying to look up a synonym for hiatus. It's an English word.

Anyway, I guess I need not post something like this for something so obvious; Yep, I'm on a break from blogging for a while. Although writing this bit kind of fired up the passion once again...

Oh, it's not about time constraints, nor is it any personal/work/family/friend/any problem at all. A day just happened to happen in my life and I suddenly had found that I need not write entries... At least, for a while.

So while I'm on a blogging interim indefinitely, let me just leave with an assurance that I'm not quitting nor am I going to abandon this blog. In fact, right as of this moment, I'm scrounging up what's left of my Photoshopping-skills to whip up a spiffy new layout!

I guess once that's done, I'll be back again. But that's still indefinite. Don't let your hopes up, or down neither.

"Waiting is, and will be, the only." something I read on a novel, pretty fancy eh?

Currently concurrent currents with blackcurrant curry

Tongue twister of the day. Hehe I made it up.

Anywho-way, here I am after more-than-a-half-year's absence. And yes I have a reason, although I'm not sure if it's valid. This here's a gist of what I did...

  • March - Where I last left off, I was on my way out of my previous job. March 28 was my last day at the office and that day I had 2 parties: from my project team and with my friends. I had to make a speech in Nihongo and all I managed to say was "Osewa ni narimashita~" which means, "Thanks for everything~". And then I left. Now you might ask why I stopped posting after this... well all of these posts were done during officehours, which is why since I'm not in any office no more, obviously the posting stopped. Silly you.
  • April - The adventure begins; the first week was hectic for there were lots to do: passports, clearances, permits, miscellaneous paperworks, and shopping. Lots of shopping. Not that I spent anything, my family bought it all for me... aww. And by week 2, my Jap classes began and thus I was away all day and back home with lots more to do, which were assignments, but mostly I was procrastinating...
  • May - Still with the Jap classes and other paperworks. Tiring as it may be, they were all necessary. Opening bank accounts, getting stuff from college, submitting documents to the new job, and printing study guides. Not for me though, I need no guide to nothin'
  • June - I think by this time me and my batchmates were getting the jibbers (is that a word? No? Well it is now). This was the month we got interviewed by Jap folks in Japanese! The month which held the deadline for the submission of documents, packing our suitcases, studying for the final exams (take note of the plural), and saying goodbyes. Did I mention June 26 was our flight sched?
  • July - For now we'll skip the part about the flight, landing in Japan, first impressions, the gasps and the 'oohhhs' and 'aahhhs', the food, the apartments, and the quirky things which makes up 99.999% of Japan. That's for other posts (as it is, there are a lot of things for other posts... shucks I can feel the memories flooding in). July is the month of extreme excitement; the kind where you'll burst and still be able to laugh. It is also the month when Japan's summer began to sink in. Boy, those cicadas are quite the silence-killers.
  • August - August is now. And now I'm busy. So I'll just continue next time.
That is all... is what I wanted to say, yet it is not. For I have to perform the acts of perilious blogging to record my adventures and to recap what had had happened during my more-than-a-half-year's absence. Do keep up with me for I am sure to grab hold of your interest, which I'm sure is very valuable and time consuming, but nevertheless quite interesting.

And thus I am rambling. So I'll cut this short: Ja ne~!

My Will Be Done~

I will post only ONCE a day after the week ends.

The reason I was able to make these entries profusely is because I have access to the computer almost the whole day. But since I'll be going to 8AM-4PM Nihongo classes this April, I think I won't be able to do the same again.

It is not really a big deal for me to post this much, I'm actually enjoying it a whole lot! It gives me the chance to write down memorable things that happens everyday, and appreciate even the littlest things that comes my way. And not being restricted to only one entry per day, I was able to write a whole lot!

Plus, I got to practice writing in English so much, that now I cringe whenever I see a typo or sentences that lacks parallelism. Haha, just kidding~

I love my blog and I love writing my life. I wish a lot of people could share my joy with me. *tries to attract more comments*

Two Eyed Daruma

Hajimemashite! Megane~kun tomoushimasu! Douzo yoroshiku onegai itashimasu!

Hello, I blog a LOT. I have lot more other blogsites, but they're kinda... meh.

Actually I migrated from a blog I started with three of my friends (more about those peeps in my later posts), which we made just last January. It was a crazy blog full of some... things. In just a month, we made about 50+ entries! Woo~ Boy, were we so hyper. We've decided to disband ourselves from the craziness and make our individual sites instead, so here I am~

If you want to visit our giddy-infested blog, go enjoy yourself: One Eyed Daruma

This blog is old... I created this maybe 4 years ago, but decided to use some other blogsite instead (blogspot wasn't that efficient back then). Then I came back here I think last year, spiced up the place and typed away. That's until the reason for my sudden journal-ing didn't pull through, and this place was left to cyber-rot.

Then I came back again. And I promise not to leave this place ever again. Not after I've read all those fantastic blogs of people who've been to Japan and back... and then to Japan again. No one can really resist the charm of that place, and that's why I'm going to blog.

I'm going to blog starting now about my journey to the land of the rising sun. The flight's scheduled to be on June/July, my Nihongo classes to start by April, and my resignation date to be effective by March. A lot of things to busy myself with, documents to prepare, friends and family to say goodbye to, and entries to write.

But first, I have to redesign this place... it's just begging to be touched by my artistic mouse clicks!
